WHAT IS A BACK LABEL ?
DISCOVER ALL OUR EXPLANATIONS
In the jargon of the adhesive label, a back label is a sticker that is placed on the back of the packaging or on the reverse side of a product. Its purpose is not to attract the end consumer, but rather to provide all the necessary information about the product in question. In order to lighten the main label on the packaging, it is possible to move some information onto the back label such as a gencode, a QR-code, a batch number or the date of manufacture.
WINERY
In the vast majority of cases, back labels are used in the wine industry. Indeed, many characteristics must be mentioned on the label: the grape varieties, the production areas and methods or the temperature at which the wine is to be tasted...

In the food sector, back labels are useful to indicate the composition of the product, its energy performance and everything concerning the origin and manufacture of the product.
